Fire Pump Run Workshop
Learn the proper procedures for conducting NFPA 25 required weekly and monthly fire pump runs or “No-Flow Tests”. Attendees will leave feeling more confident on how to properly exercise and maintain the fire pump(s) within the building they manage or maintain.
- NFPA 25 code requirements for weekly monthly fire pump runs
- Difference in requirements for electric vs. diesel pumps
- Brief overview of internal components and how they work
- Fire pump room maintenance recommendations
- Safety recommendations when operating equipment
- Proper procedures for monthly electric fire pump run
- Proper procedures for weekly diesel fire pump run
- Live demonstration of weekly diesel fire pump run
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Stephen Komjathy is a State Licensed Fire Protection Contractor, Nicet Certified and NFPA Certified Fire Protection Specialist with over 30 years of experience in the Fire Protection Industry. He is Director of Training for Sprinklermatic Fire Protection Systems, Inc. and Lead Instructor for (5) Sprinklermatic Universities throughout the State of Florida.
